Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about our process, pricing, and what to expect when working with RenoResQ.
How much does a home refresh cost in Winnipeg?
A typical Winnipeg home refresh — interior painting, floor updates and trim work — costs $8,000 to $20,000+ depending on the size of the home and scope of work. Paint-only projects start around $5,500 for a standard bungalow. RenoResQ provides a firm, written quote after an in-home walkthrough — no vague estimates.
Are these prices firm or estimates?
The ranges on this page are guidelines based on typical Winnipeg projects. Your actual quote will be a firm, written price based on an in-home walkthrough. We don't give vague estimates or surprise you with extras. The price we quote is the price you pay, plus GST.
What is your minimum project size?
Our minimum project is $4,500 + GST. This ensures we can deliver the quality and attention to detail our clients expect. Most projects fall in the $6,000 to $15,000 range.
What are your payment terms?
We use a 60/40 payment structure: 60% deposit before work begins, 40% final payment on completion. We accept e-transfer, cheque and credit card. Invoicing is handled through Zoho.
Do prices include materials?
Yes. All quotes include labour, materials, prep, cleanup and a 1-year workmanship warranty. Paint, flooring, trim, fixtures — everything is included in the quoted price unless specifically noted otherwise.
Why are your prices higher than some competitors?
We're not the cheapest option in Winnipeg — and we're upfront about that. Our pricing reflects experienced tradespeople, premium materials, proper prep work, clean job sites, clear communication, a 1-year warranty and a 30-day tune-up visit. We work with homeowners who value reliability and quality over the lowest bid.
